Carcinoma/Caxinôm tế bào gan (HCC) là ung thư phát sinh từ tế bào gan,[1] loại tế bào nhu mô chính ở gan.[2] Đây là dạng ung thư gan phổ biến nhất, chiếm đến 90% trường hợp.[3] Bên cạnh đó thì HCC còn là một trong những loại ung thư phổ biến và gây tử vong hàng đầu.[4]
