Carcinoma/Caxinôm đường mật (CCA) là ung thư tế bào biểu mô có thể phát sinh từ bất kỳ vị trí nào thuộc hệ thống đường mật.[1][2] Căn cứ vào địa điểm giải phẫu gốc mà CCA được phân thành ba loại là trong gan (iCCA), quanh rốn (pCCA), và xa gan (dCCA).[2][3] Giữa các loại có sự khác biệt về sinh bệnh học, biểu hiện lâm sàng, và phương pháp điều trị.[4] pCCA chiếm khoảng 50–60% tổng số, dCCA 20–30%, còn iCCA 10–20%.[2][3]
